Tuition Calculations for the Fall/Spring Seasons

To calculate tuition, total your dancer’s weekly class hours and match them to the tuition schedule on the right.

  • Tuition is due on the 11th each month.

  • A $20 late fee applies after the 11th, and a $25 fee applies to rejected ACH payments.

  • Tuition is not prorated—longer months balance shorter ones. We follow the Tooele School District calendar with some exceptions, so please check our website for closure dates.

  • For tuition over 15 hours or any other billing or account questions, email billing@thedancecentreut.com.

  • To drop a class, email Charity@thedancecentreut.com by the 20th of the month before withdrawal. (Example: to drop in October, email by September 20; otherwise, October tuition is still due.)

  • Boys receive half tuition for dance and tumbling classes—this discount is automatically applied.

Tuition FAQs

  • Tuition is posted to your account by the 5th of each month and automatically charged on the 11th. A $20 late fee applies to any payment not received by the 11th. Rejected ACH payments will incur a $25 fee.

  • There is a yearly $45 Registration Fee per dancer ($90 max per family) due with the first months tuition on Sept 11th. This fee will cover registration for the entire year (Sept 2025 to Aug 2026).

  • All dancers performing in the Spring recital will have a $20 recital fee ($40 max per family) due on April 11th.

  • All performing classes will have a Spring Recital costume fee of $85 due on February 11th.

  • You will be responsible to purchase your child’s shoes, tights and dance clothing throughout the year as needed. Dance shoes, just like school shoes, need to be replaced often as their feet grow quickly and they put a lot of wear on them in their training. We have try on ballet and jazz shoes available in the lobby. Each family will need to order their own shoes through Discount Dance. The ordering instructions are below. Ballet tights are the only thing that must be purchased through the studio, they are available for purchase in the lobby.

    To order jazz, ballet, tap or ballroom shoes as well as ballet leos and anything else you might need for dance, please visit www.discountdance.com. The items required for each class are listed in the dress code associated with our studio. You can also see the Dress Code page for more information.

    Please use teacher code 61341 when checking out.

    Once you’re on Discount Dances website click on students link at the very top of the page.

    It will give you the option to find a studio, find my dress code or find my teacher.

    You can click on any of those three options and type in either The Dance Centre, Charity Duersch or the teacher ID#61341.

    Once you’ve located the dress code for our studio, you can choose the class type and it will list the required items for that class. You can purchase those items directly from the links provided and they will be shipped to your house.

    Returns are also easy through Discount Dance and the instructions are online.
