Tuition Calculations for the Fall/Spring Seasons
Tuition & Billing Information
To calculate monthly tuition, add up your dancer’s total weekly class hours and find the corresponding rate on the tuition schedule to the right. For additional fees billed through the season please see the yearly fees listed below.
Tuition is due on the 11th of each month and is automatically charged to the payment method on file.
A $20 late fee is applied to balances remaining after the 11th. Rejected ACH payments are subject to a $25 returned payment fee.
Tuition is a flat monthly rate and is not prorated based on the number of class days in a month. Months with more class days help balance months with fewer.
The Dance Centre generally follows the Tooele County School District calendar, with some exceptions. Please check our website calendar for official studio closure dates.
For tuition exceeding 15 hours per week, or for billing and account questions, email billing@thedancecentreut.com.
Class withdrawals must be submitted by email to info@thedancecentreut.com by the 25th of the month prior to withdrawal. After the 25th, you are responsible for the following month’s tuition. Example: To drop a class for October, email by September 25th. After September 25th, October tuition is still due.
Boys receive 50% off tuition for dance and tumbling classes. This discount is applied automatically.

TDC Yearly Fees

There is a yearly $45 Registration Fee per dancer ($90 max per family) due with the first months tuition on Sept 11th. This fee covers registration for the entire year (Sept 2026 to Aug 2027).

A $25 recital fee per dancer (maximum $50 per family) will be charged on April 11 for all dancers participating in the Spring Recital.
This fee helps cover recital administration and venue rental costs. Please note that recital tickets are not included and must be purchased separately. Tickets are affordably priced and provide reserved seating for our families.

All performing classes will have a Spring Recital costume fee of $85 due on February 11th.

You will be responsible for purchasing your dancer’s dance shoes, tights, and dance clothing throughout the year as needed to ensure they are meeting the studio’s dress code requirements. Dance shoes, just like school shoes, may need to be replaced throughout the year as dancers’ feet grow and shoes become worn from regular training. Parents are responsible for making sure their dancer has the correct attire and properly fitting shoes required for each class.
